Personal Health Information Practices

As per the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004, the Algonquin Nursing Home promotes the health and well-being of the residents by collecting, using, and disclosing any personal health information.

The Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004:

  • Gives residents the right to request access to and correction of their personal health records.

Algonquin Nursing Home is the health information custodian under the Act for the residents.
