Mattawa Hospital Meals on Wheels Services
Delicious, Nutritious Meals Delivered with Care
The Meals on Wheels program at Mattawa Hospital provides healthy, well-balanced meals to eligible residents in our community and surrounding area, helping clients maintain their independence while enjoying nutritious home-style meals.
Who Can Receive Meals?
No referral is required. Clients are eligible if they:
- Are 65 years of age or older, or
- Under the age of 65, with confirmed medical condition
Delivery Information
Meal deliveries are available every Tuesday and Thursday.
- Town of Mattawa residents: Home delivery is available.
- Clients outside town limits: Meals can be picked up at Mattawa Hospital.
Deliveries are made between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. due to the number of clients we serve.
Affordable & Flexible
Only $7.00 per meal:
- Order as many or as few meals as you need.
- There is no minimum or maximum order.
- During registration, you or your representative can choose a meal schedule that best fits your needs.
Example: One meal on Tuesday and one meal on Thursday costs $14.00 per week.
What's Included?
Each nutritious meal is prepared according to the Mattawa Hospital and Algonquin Nursing Home menu cycle and includes:
- Protein
- Vegetable
- Starch
- Fresh salad
- Dessert
- Dinner roll
